i was thinking in one thing. there are many american cartoons like spawn and x-men. but they sell them to japan and they make games and vidios of them. my question is:should that be considerated anime or not??

DEFINATLEY NOT
I would vomit if Xmen was Anime, its Marvel all the way no matter what country it is, Capcom drew the Xmen characters in the Xmen V Streetfighter Series as well as MVC, MVC2, but that was because Capcom had the rights to Marvel based characters, Activision then later came on the seen and bought it off capcom.

I dont see a reason to, but its like saying Dragonball Z should be Marvel, or Guilty Gear should be owned by Capcom,
stuff like that

actualy it is not the same. the guys from anime have alredy proved that they can transform bad marvel heroes in good characters. the american cartons cant do the same thing for the anime.

Marvel are realistic with their animations

thats my point. its boring to be realistic. they are so realistic that if they tryed to draw anime they would fail.(i think)

Well, considering Marvel came about in the early 60's, people DID want to see realism more than just cartoons, and Marvel has stuck by that up to this very day, Xmen was created because of the Malcom X incidents and people being different, so Stan Lee took that and imposed it into a cartoon
